About Us
Toddler Guard is a project initiated by a team of dedicated electrical engineering and computer science students at The Rachel and Selim Benin School of Computer Science and Engineering. Our goal is to create a safer environment for toddlers by leveraging advanced technology to identify potential dangers and alert parents in real-time.
Our team consists of Tanya Fainstein and Eitan Stepanov, both in their 4th year of study. Under the guidance of our mentor, Daniella Har Shalom, we have developed an innovative system that integrates various technologies such as camera input streaming, object detection using YOLO, danger analysis based on spatial metrics, and real-time alerting.
We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of families by providing a reliable and efficient tool to monitor their child's surroundings, ensuring their safety even when direct supervision is not possible.
